17:30Synod meeting with Bishop Graham, South Wootton Rectory
Open Air Eucharist at South Wootton Rectory, followed by light buffet of barbequed burgers. Attended by Deanery Synod Representatives, Churchwardens, Readers, Authorised Worship Assistants, and Chapter Clergy. Note: if the weather is inclement, the Eucharist will take place at St. Mary’s Church, South Wootton. Guests will be invited back to the Rectory for barbecued food indoors or out.

Our Coffee and Cake morning in September will be on the second Saturday of the month, 14th September, from 10.30am to 12pm. This is the date of the Norfolk Churches Trust Sponsored Bike Ride and we look forward to welcoming cyclists on their route around local churches, as well as our regular visitors. Coffee and cake £3. Wednesday 25th September 2019 Benefice Coach Trip to Ely Cathedral
Join us on a day out to Ely Cathedral. Cost is £15.00 per person including travel and a guided tour starting at 12.00 pm lasting about an hour. Bring a picnic or visit one of the many cafes for lunch and the time is your own until the coach leaves at 4.00 pm. The coach pick up points are The Play Area, Chapel Road, Pott Row PE321BP where cars can be parked or 10.15 at Great Massingham stores. 19:30 - 21:00Living on a Prayer, Pott Row Village Hall
LISTENING A series of 6 talks on sections of The Lord's Prayer. We shall be guided through by Pete Grieg being interviewed about the Lord’s Prayer on a series of 6 short (15mins ) videos. It promises to be an interesting and thoughtful evening. We meet at Pott Row Village Hall on the last Thursday evening of each month May through to November but missing out August.

A chance to see and buy arts & crafts over the weekend and perhaps enjoy tea and coffee and cake. More details to follow.
18:30St Mary, Gt Massingham Harvest Supper Village Hall
The Harvest supper will be in the Village Hall and will have a "Bread & Cheese" based buffet followed by a Ceilidh. Last year was wonderful and this year will be just as good if not better. Adults £7.00 - children FREE. We were also lucky to have many wonderful puddings made and donated to us. If you can do one this year we would be extremely grateful. Everyone is welcome to a joyous service of music and praise. Everyone’s favourite hymns to celebrate Michaelmas. This is a community service with hymns chosen by the congregation.( It would help if choices could be made to Rev. Julian or myself with a few days notice.) If you require a lift to church then please inform me and I will endeavour to get lifts from church members.
